Students are continuing work on their Latin America Travel Journal this week, so we took the time to reflect upon the key components of the assignment that will be graded. The total points possible will reflect the "normal" assignments that would have taken place during a two-week period (Openers, class notes, homework, and assessments) . Points possible: 300 *Split three ways 1. Current Event Log 2. Citations 3. Travel Journal
Over the next two weeks, students will be using their chromebooks to complete an online travel journal, complete with a current event log and MLA citations. Students will be brainstorming activities to experience while planning for a 7-day vacations. Money is not a concern, so students are encouraged to experience everything on their Latin America wish list. Attached is the timline for students and the resources required to complete the assignment. Remember, informal assessments will be completed on Wed/Fri, with the final assessment of the assignment on the Friday before Winter Break.

Students research the history and culture of Los Angeles' Koreatown by watching and taking notes on the documentary "Parts Unknown: LA".
